Abstract
Western Medicine has made advances in ART (Assisted Reproductive Technologies), including Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) and In Vitro Fertilization (TVF), but can benefit from integration with Chinese Medicine. Chinese Medicine has 2000 years of history. one important principle is that the health of the infant depends on the health of the mother. Acupuncture and herbal medicine are particularly effective in treating common causes of infertility such as hormone imbalance, endometriiosis, polycystic ovary syndrome; and have been showed significantly increase the successful pregnancy rate and lower the rate of pregnancy loss in fertility clinic.
This presentation will describe how to integrate acupuncture and herbal medicine with Assistive Reproductive Technology (ART) approach the successful of female fertility..
