Biography
Dr. Lorinda Sorensen is an associate professor at National University of Health Sciences, where she teaches classes in botanical medicine, naturopathic philosophy, endocrinology, and women’s health. She is considered to be the campus expert in botanicals by both the Naturopathic and Chiropractic medicine students and faculty. Lorinda was born in Washington state, during her younger years she studied art extensively, and it is a strong desire to understand the beauty of nature that led her to natural medicine. She attended Bastyr University, where she received both her doctor of Naturopathic medicine degree and a Master’s of Science in Acupuncture and is board certified in acupuncture.
